I actually did just what you were thinking - Puzzling Stone Sword. It's a pretty sweet combo, and worked pretty well in PvP to boot. The only thing that often would mess me up when powerstancing is the fact that the PSS is a good bit shorter, so sometimes you'd only hit with one weapon on an L1.

The Puzzling Stone Sword is interesting because the only thing puzzling about it is why in the hell the devs made it so damn weak when whip movesets aren't even good to begin with to warrant that.
