Although, definitely feel for those who SOAP so it's hard to take that much enjoyment knowing that the system really does ruin people's lives.I think having 2-3 dermatology research experiences with 2-3 citations out of each of those would be more than sufficient to get you competitive for dermatology as an applicant without a research year.
